​What happens in a return to work or pumping consult?

We will discuss your personal medical history, your plans and timeline for returning to work. Then go over:

• Helping you decide what type of pump(s) will work best for you or how to use your current pump

• When to start pumping/how to build a freezer stash

• Introducing a bottle and how to do paced bottle feeding

• Storage guidelines

• How much milk your baby needs

• Measure you for pump flanges (in person consults)

• Show you how to hand express milk (if desired) in case you ever need to

• Troubleshoot any issues your having with pumping

• Answer any other pumping/ return to work questions you have!

How do I get an appointment?
We have an easy online system so you can book your appointment right here on our website, just click book now and it will take you through the next steps! If you have any struggles with the online system feel free to text or call us at (530)287-8222 and we can help.

 

Will my insurance cover it, what is the cost?
Most insurances will reimburse you! You'll pay for your own appointment up front and then we will give you a superbill so your insurance can reimburse you. A pumping consult is $175 for an in person appointment and $150 for a virtual appointment. Two weeks of follow up support via secured messaging is included for questions related to our consult.

What cities/areas do you travel to?

We are located in Paradise and don't charge any additional travel fee for drives within 30 minutes, such as Chico, Oroville, Durham, Magalia, etc.
