Medi-Cal/ Partnership

Most of your appointments with us are covered at no cost to you through the Medi-Cal Doula program! We are also contracted with our local Medi-Cal managed care plan: Partnership.

This program allows all members to have the following doula services per pregnancy/baby:

• One initial visit

• Up to eight additional visits (any combination of prenatal and postpartum visits)

• Support during labor and delivery (including labor and delivery resulting in a stillbirth), abortion or miscarriage.

• Up to two extended three-hour postpartum visits after the end of a pregnancy.

If you have used all 9 visits then you can request 9 more postpartum visits through your doctor or any licensed provider. These services are availble up to 12 months after the end of the pregnancy. As long as you have not used all of your doula visits already

and the specific appointment type you are looking at says

it's one of your Medi-Cal/Partnership doula appointments then your visits with us will be covered at no cost to you!
